The DIRECTV Group Announces First Quarter 2008 Results
May 7, 2008 – The DIRECTV Group (NASDAQ:DTV) has reported that first quarter 2008 revenues increased 17% to $4.59 billion. DIRECTV U.S. net subscriber additions were 275,000. DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions were 200,000.

Ecuador - Andinatel to start IPTV in 2009
Mar 24, 2008 – Ecuadorian state-run telephone carrier Andinatel will invest around USD 36.5 million in its IPTV project Andinacable in an attempt to put its platform into commercial application as from 2009.

Feb 13, 2008 – DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV) U.S. net subscriber additions of 275,000 were driven by strong gross additions and the lowest monthly churn rate in 8 years. DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions more than doubled to 199,000 due to higher gross additions and low monthly churn.

DIRECTV Extends Partnership with NDS
Dec 5, 2007 – NDS (NASDAQ: NNDS) has announced that it has signed an agreement with DIRECTV to extend the term of their relationship. NDS has been contracted to continue to provide conditional access technology and services to DIRECTV U.S. and DIRECTV Latin America until June 2013.

Nov 7, 2007 – DIRECTV (NYSE:DTV) U.S. net subscriber additions increased 45% to 240,000 in the quarter bringing the total number of subscribers as of September 30, 2007 to 16.56 million. DIRECTV Latin America had a nearly fourfold increase in net subscriber additions to 161,000.

The DIRECTV Group Announces Second Quarter 2007 Results
Aug 9, 2007 – DIRECTV (NYSE:DTV) U.S. net subscribers increased to 128,000 in the quarter bringing the total number of DIRECTV U.S. subscribers as of June 30, 2007 to 16.32 million, an increase of 5% over the 15.51 million subscribers reported on June 30, 2006. DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions increased 83% to 141,000. The total number of DIRECTV subscribers in Latin America as of June 30, 2007 increased to 2.94 million compared to 1.73 million as of June 30, 2006.
