IPTV providers to take 18% of a $304 billion market by 2018
Feb 5, 2013 – The worldwide Pay-TV market grew at a steady pace in 2012 generating $238 billion by end-of-year, up from $223 billion in 2011, according to ABI Research. The global Pay-TV market is expected to generate $304 billion in 2018 with a CAGR of 4%.

One million IPTV subscribers for KPN at end-2012
Feb 5, 2013 – KPN has published its fourth quarter and annual results for 2012. KPN's IPTV proposition supported continued growth of IPTV net adds (183k in Q4 2012). This resulted in a TV market share of 23%, an increase of 6%-points compared to Q4 2011.

TalkTalk connects 80,000 TV subscribers in first three months since launch

DOCOMO to License HEVC Decoding Software

60,000 BT Vision customers with YouView set-top boxes
Feb 1, 2013 – BT Group (BT.L) has announced its results for the third quarter and nine months to 31 December 2012. BT added 21,000 BT Vision customers in the quarter to give a total of 770,000 subscribers. It has over 60,000 customers with a YouView box.
