France - Canal+ launches first HD DTT channel
Aug 27, 2008 – On the 8th of August, CANAL+ Group, a Vivendi (Paris: VIV) subsidiary, launched CANAL+ in High Definition on digital terrestrial. The launch, the first in France, coincided with the Olympics and the start of the French football season.

Vivendi Reports First Half 2008 Revenues Up 10.2%

Vivendi: Very Good First Quarter - 2008 Outlook Confirmed
