Dec 3, 2020 – itel has selected the NetRange VISNOS Smart TV app portal for its new Smart TV range. NetRange VISNOS moves app functionality to the cloud enabling an advanced Smart TV experience on low end/low CPU-powered TVs.

May 27, 2013 – According to Mexico's Telecommunications Sector Production Index (ITEL), at the end of March 2013 there were 7.1 million DTH users in the country. Cable TV finished the quarter with 6 million subscribers.

Feb 25, 2013 – According to Mexico's Telecommunications Sector Production Index, at the end of the fourth quarter of 2012 there were 6.9 million DTH subscribers in the country, an increase of 22% versus Q4 2011. Cable TV added 5% to reach 5.9 million.

Nov 26, 2012 – According to Mexico's Telecommunications Sector Production Index, at the end of the third quarter of 2012 there were 6.655 million DTH subscribers in the country, an increase of 22.9% versus Q3 2011. Cable TV lost 49 thousand subscribers in the quarter.

Aug 27, 2012 – According to Mexico's Telecommunications Sector Production Index, at the end of the second quarter of 2012 there were 6.286 million DTH users, an increase of 23.5% versus Q2 2011. Cable TV grew 4.7% to 5.811 million subscribers.

Satellite overtakes cable TV in Mexico
