Deutsche Telekom adds 124,000 TV customers in 2Q 2014
Aug 7, 2014 – Deutsche Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) has released its second quarter 2014 results report. The company added 63 thousand TV customers in Germany during the quarter whilst in the same period its other European businesses gained 61 thousand TV customers.

OTE TV up 69.1% Y-o-Y in Greece
Aug 7, 2014 – OTE (ASE: HTO; OTC MARKET: HLTOY) has announced results to end-June, 2014. At the end of the quarter, OTE TV subscribers amounted to 296k, an increase of 69% year-on-year. Romtelecom TV subscribers rose by 6.8% compared to Q2’13.

US video entertainment spend to peak at $123 billion next year

Charter video subscribers down 29,000 in 2Q 2014
Jul 31, 2014 – Charter Communications has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2014. Residential video customers decreased by 29,000 in the second quarter, versus a loss of 55,000 in the year-ago period.

Costa Rica adds 100,000 pay TV subscribers in 2013
Jul 30, 2014 – Costa Rica's telecoms regulator (SUTEL) has released a market report for the period 2010 to 2013. The country ended 2013 with 641,042 pay TV subscribers, up 100,349 versus the end of 2012.
