Paraguay ends 2013 with 347,000 pay TV subscribers
Jul 29, 2014 – Paraguay’s telecoms services regulator (CONATEL) has released telecommunications statistics for 2013. The country ended the year with 347 thousand pay TV subscribers, up from 293 thousand at the end of June.

Brazil adds 513,000 pay TV subscribers in 2Q 2014
Jul 29, 2014 – According to Brazil’s Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel), the country’s pay TV subscriber base ended June 2014 at 18.97 million, with 513 thousand new subscribers being added in the quarter and 2 million over the preceding 12 months.

Alcatel-Lucent and Telefónica bring network DVR to Movistar TV in Spain

AT&T adds 190,000 U-verse TV subscribers in 2Q 2014
