Number of IPTV subscribers to double by 2020
Jul 16, 2014 – The number of homes paying for IPTV will rocket to 191 million by end-2020; more than double the 90 million recorded at end-2013 and up from only 36 million at end-2010, according to a new report from Digital TV Research.

Africa ends 1Q 2014 with 14.5 million pay TV subscribers

Montenegro adds 3,983 pay TV subscribers in 2Q 2014
Jul 9, 2014 – The Agency for Electronic Media in Montenegro has released television subscriber figures. As at June 30, 2014, the number of connections for the distribution of radio and TV programmes was 153,601, up 8,651 year-on-year (6.0%).

IPTV subscriptions top 100 million for the first time

The market research company has said that the market grew by 4.8% in the first quarter of 2014 with 4.6 million new subscriptions, taking the total number of subscribers to 100.9 million.

Chile adds 76,000 pay TV subscribers in 1Q 2014
