ATIS IPTV Metadata Standards Enable Transport of Critical Information
Jul 31, 2008 – ATIS has announced that the ATIS Interoperability IPTV Forum (IIF) has released two metadata specifications. The two standards are the IPTV EPG Metadata Specification and the IPTV Emergency Alert System (EAS) Metadata Specification.

Continued strong performance by France Telecom in the first half 2008
Jul 31, 2008 – France Telecom (Paris:FTE)(NYSE:FTE) revenues for the first half 2008 rose to €26.304 billion. ADSL digital TV services (IPTV) had a total of 1.54 million subscribers in Europe at 30 June 2008, compared with 872,000 one year earlier.

BT first quarter to June 30, 2008
