Sky Italia and Open Fiber agree long-term deal
Mar 29, 2018 – Sky Italia and Open Fiber have announced a long-term deal to launch a fibre-only service from summer 2019, to drive long-term growth in fibre and Pay-TV services. This fibre-only service will be available alongside Sky’s existing services.

India adds 0.57 million active DTH subscribers in 4Q 2017
Mar 26, 2018 – According to figures submitted to TRAI, active satellite pay TV subscriptions in India reached 67.56 million at the end of December 2017, up 0.57 million versus the end of the previous quarter, and up 4.91 million year-on-year.

Western Europe pay TV subs up, revenues down
Mar 26, 2018 – Western European pay TV will gain subscribers between 2017 and 2023. Although this only represents a 2.6% increase, Digital TV Research expects three million more subscribers to be added to take the total to 106 million.
