Feb 16, 2010 – The number of TivùSat cards ordered by set-top box and television manufacturers for Italy's free-to-air satellite TV service has reached 790,000. With an activation rate of around 1300 to 1500 a day, the number of active users has reached 150,000.

Zon satellite service in Angola to be called ZAP

ETSI Formally Adopts New Release Of GEM/MHP Interactive Standards
Feb 15, 2010 – DVB has announced that ETSI has adopted as standards the new release versions of the MHP 1.2.2 and GEM 1.2.2 specifications. GEM now takes over the role of DVB's primary middleware specification, and MHP becomes a derived specification based on GEM.
