Ofcom publishes UK Communications Market report 2016
Aug 4, 2016 – The UK’s communications regulator, Ofcom, has published its annual Communications Market report for 2016. More than half of UK adults (59%) used a video-on-demand (VoD) service during 2015 – up from 57% in 2014.

Number of homes with Freesat remains steady at 1.93 million

HbbTV Association to develop operator application specification

Freesat now available in 1.93 million homes
Feb 4, 2016 – Freesat has announced a strong final quarter to 2015, with the addition of 36,000 new homes in the three months to December 2015. After adding 61,000 homes over the course of 2015, Freesat is now available in over 1.93 million households in the UK.

RTÉ and Saorview partner with Freesat

Humax adds Netflix to Freesat with Freetime STBs

Freesat adds 25,000 homes in 9 months to end-September
