DVB-T penetration reaches 6% of Hungarian households in 1Q10
May 5, 2010 – A 33% growth was recorded in the number of DVB-T MPEG-4 compatible receivers in Hungarian households during the first quarter of 2010 compared with the previous quarter. At the end of March, 6% of the Hungarian households had a DVB-T ready receiver.

Canal Digital DTH and Cable TV subscribers down 14,000 in 1Q10
May 5, 2010 – Telenor (Oslo:TEL) has released results for the first quarter of 2010. The number of Canal Digital DTH subscribers decreased by 6,000, and the number of cable TV subscriptions decreased by 8,000 during the quarter.

Argentina to distribute 1.2 million free STBs this year

Apr 27, 2010 – KPN Group (Amsterdam:KPN) has released its Interim Financial Report for the first quarter of 2010. KPN's TV (Digitenne DTT + Interactieve TV IPTV) subscriber base reached 1.033 million at the end of the quarter, up 49 thousand from the end of 2009.
