DIRECTV U.S. up 224,000 subscribers and DTVLA up 128,000 in 2Q09
Aug 6, 2009 – The DIRECTV Group (NASDAQ:DTV) has reported second quarter 2009 results. DIRECTV U.S. net subscriber additions were 224,000 to give 18.31 million, and DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions were 128,000 to give 4.16 million, at quarter end.

Ecuador to also test ISDB-TB and DTMB
May 14, 2009 – In addition to ISDB and DVB, Ecuador's SUPERTEL is testing the Chinese standard (DTMB) and the Brazilian variant of the Japanese standard (ISDB-TB or SBTVD) with a decision to be taken on the broadcasting choice in June this year.

May 7, 2009 – The DIRECTV Group (NASDAQ:DTV) has reported results for the first quarter. DIRECTV U.S. net subscriber additions were 460,000 to give 18.08 million, and DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions were 148,000 to give 4.03 million, at quarter end.

SIDSA seeks further expansion in Latin America

Nov 6, 2008 – DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV) has reported that third quarter 2008 revenues increased 15% to $4.98 billion. DIRECTV U.S. net subscriber additions were 156,000. DIRECTV Latin America net additions were 79,000 in the quarter.

The DIRECTV Group Announces Second Quarter 2008 Results
Aug 7, 2008 – DIRECTV (NASDAQ:DTV) U.S. net subscriber additions of 129,000 were essentially flat compared with last year's second quarter. DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions increased 30% to 184,000 compared to the same period last year.
