Brazil - Cisco and Ericsson to run IPTV trials for GVT

Aug 13, 2008 – Cyfrowy Polsat (Warsaw:CPS) has released its interim report for the three months ended June 2008. At the end of the quarter Polsat had 2,287,656 subscribers, 46.5% more than at June 30, 2007, when the figure was 1,561,711 subscribers.

Swisscom releases January-June 2008 Interim Report
Aug 13, 2008 – Swisscom (Swiss: SCMN) posted a 17.6% increase in revenue to CHF 5,991 million for the first half of 2008. At the end of June 2008 'Bluewin TV' had 80,000 paying customers, up from around 40,000 at the end of June 2007.

ADB Group Reports Record First-Half 2008 Financial Results
Aug 12, 2008 – ADB Holdings (SWX: ADBN) has reported results for the first half of the year 2008. High-definition TV (HDTV) product sales accounted for 67% of the Digital TV Equipment revenue, up from 49% in the first half of 2007 and 57% in the entire year 2007.
