Mexico passes 7 million cable TV subscriber mark
Jun 13, 2014 – According to Mexico’s Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones, in the first quarter of 2014, pay TV subscriptions in the country were up 12.1% versus the the same point one year before.

Polaroid launches ATSC-capable tablets in Mexico

Peru adds 65,600 pay TV subscribers in 2013
Jun 10, 2014 – Peru's telecoms regulator (OSIPTEL) has released pay TV statistics for the country to the end of 2013. The country added 65,601 subscribers during 2013, to finish the year at 1,384,884, up 34,912 in the final quarter.

Pay TV penetration in Venezuela approaches 60%
Jun 9, 2014 – According to preliminary statistics published by CONATEL, pay TV subscriptions in Venezuela at the end of March 2014 were 4.36 million, up from 3.61 million at the end of the first quarter of 2013, and up 135,000 versus the end of 2013.

Millicom launches satellite pay TV in Costa Rica and Honduras
