České Radiokomunikace selects ATEME for DVB-T2 HEVC headend
May 16, 2017 – ATEME has announced that České Radiokomunikace (ČRA) has deployed ATEME's compression and statmux solutions for its DVB-T2 HEVC services. ČRA's headend uses ATEME's technology to deliver more than 15 channels in one DVB-T2 multiplex across the Czech Republic.

LG and SES demonstrate 4K High Frame Rate technology
May 16, 2017 – SES (Paris; Luxembourg: SESG) and LG will demonstrate OLED TV’s 4K High Frame Rate (HFR) broadcast at the tenth SES Industry Days conference in Luxembourg. The 4K HFR content will be transmitted live via an ASTRA satellite at 19.2°E.

ZTE to provide DTMB broadcasting infrastructure for Pakistan's PTV

Global pay TV subscribers to reach 1.09 billion

C&W buys Marpin 2K4 to add cable TV to Flow Dominica

52% of U.S. cord cutters cancelled their pay TV in the last 2 years

Eutelsat provides satellite capacity for Ethiosat
