Portugal's meo TV adds 59k subscribers in 2Q09
Aug 6, 2009 – Portugal Telecom (Lisbon: PTC; NYSE: PT) has announced its results for the first half ended 30 June 2009. 'meo' IPTV and satellite pay TV customers increased by 59 thousand in the second quarter to reach 443,000 at the end of June.

Magyar Telekom cable subscribers down 7k, satellite up 41k and IPTV up 7k in 2Q09

Virgin Media adds 56,600 PVR subscribers in 2Q09
Aug 6, 2009 – Virgin Media (NASDAQ: VMED) has announced results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Digital TV net additions were 32,900 in the quarter. Virgin added 56,600 V+ DVR subscribers in the period to reach an installed base of 668,500.

Aug 5, 2009 – Bezeq (TASE: BEZQ) has announced its results for the second quarter of 2009 and the six months ended June 30, 2009. The yes multi-channel pay-TV segment posted revenue of NIS 376 million as subscribers increased to 562,000, up 2% year-over-year.
