Fujitsu Releases New Full HD H.264/MPEG-2 Transcoder ICs
May 8, 2009 – Fujitsu Microelectronics has announced 2 new transcoder ICs that can convert between Full HD MPEG-2 and H.264 video, as well as transcoding between audio formats while featuring a low power consumption of only 1.0W including the in-package memory.

2008 Global FTTH Shipments Rise 71%
Feb 23, 2009 – According to DITTBERNER, annual FTTH shipments were up a slower than forecast 71% in 2008. Slower growth than projected for Europe and Korea is the main reason, offset by a higher than expected growth in China.

MPEG LA Updates AVC Patent Portfolio License

Fujitsu Launches SD Multi-Decoder LSI Supporting MPEG-2 & H.264
