'Vodafone Box' STB launches in Spain
Feb 24, 2014 – Vodafone Spain has launched its Vodafone Box home multimedia platform, a set-top box that allows access to DTT channels as well as IP content from the Yomvi service from CANAL+.

Mexico buys 120,000 digital televisions
Feb 19, 2014 – Mexico's Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) has said that it has purchased 120,000 digital TVs for deployment in the cities of Nuevo Laredo and Reynosa as part of the country's switch over to DTT broadcasting.

Internet capable TVs in 22% of Australian homes
Feb 7, 2014 – OzTAM has announced the release of its Q313 Australian Multi-Screen Report. Internet capable TVs are now in 22 per cent of homes. With the analogue switch-off imminent, 99 per cent of homes had converted to DTT by Q3 2013.

KPN adds 187,000 TV subscribers in 2013
Feb 4, 2014 – KPN has published its 2013 full year results. KPN’s IPTV proposition resulted in another quarter of strong IPTV net adds (80k), offseting a decline in Digitenne subscribers of 42k.

Digital TV in 82% of Dutch households
Feb 3, 2014 – According to the 2013 Media Standard Survey (MSS) produced by TNS-NIPO for Stichting KijkOnderzoek (SKO), digital television is now in 82% of Dutch households, up from 76% in 2012.

TEO LT TV subscribers up 1.8% over 2013
Jan 29, 2014 – TEO LT has released financial results for 2013. The number of IPTV customers grew 12.2% year-on-year, compensating for the loss of DTT customers which fell by 11.4%.

Hungary adds 212,000 digital TV subscribers in 2013
Jan 28, 2014 – According to the latest Flash Report released by Hungary’s Office of the National Media and Infocommunications Authority, at the end of 2013 the number of digital TV subscribers was 2,048,811, up from 1,836,428 in December 2012.
