France exceeded 10 million pay TV subscribers at end-2008
Dec 16, 2009 – In a report on the economics of pay TV channels, France's Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA) found that, at the end of 2008, the number of households subscribing to pay-TV was 10.4 million out of a total of 25.5 million TV households in the country.

Spain - December DTT monthly update released
Dec 14, 2009 – According to Impulsa-TDT, 957,000 DTT receivers were sold in October, giving a cumulative total for Spain of 23.4 million units. Based on reporting from TNS Sofres, penetration of DTT in Spanish households was 74.7% in November.

Dutch digital TV market growth slows
