Asia Pacific to add 440 million digital TV homes
May 18, 2012 – According to a new report from Digital TV Research, Asia Pacific is undergoing a digital TV boom that will see penetration increase from 36% in 2011 to 83% in 2017 - or up by 440 million homes.

India's KCCL selects Conax security for digitization of its cable TV operations

India adds over 3 million DTH subscribers in 4Q 2011
Apr 13, 2012 – The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has released its Performance Indicator Report for the fourth quarter of 2011. At year-end, India's DTH subscriber base was 44.21 million, up from 41.04 million at the end of the previous quarter.
