Portugal's meo TV adds 59k subscribers in 2Q09
Aug 6, 2009 – Portugal Telecom (Lisbon: PTC; NYSE: PT) has announced its results for the first half ended 30 June 2009. 'meo' IPTV and satellite pay TV customers increased by 59 thousand in the second quarter to reach 443,000 at the end of June.

Magyar Telekom cable subscribers down 7k, satellite up 41k and IPTV up 7k in 2Q09
Aug 6, 2009 – Magyar Telekom (NYSE: MTA, BSE: MTEL, MTELEKOM HB) has reported results for the first half of 2009. The total number of TV customers was close to 546,000 by the end of June with growth mostly driven by the newly launched satellite TV service.

Autumn launch for Netia IPTV in Poland

ADB announces 1H09 results; Provides DTT STB to Ikusi
Aug 6, 2009 – Advanced Digital Broadcast (SIX: ADBN) has reported results for the first-half of 2009. Revenue for the first-half was $183.2 million, 7.8% up on the same period in 2008. ADB also announced that it will deliver its DTT STB to Spanish company, Ikusi.

Iliad adds 146k subscribers in 1H09
Aug 4, 2009 – Over the 1st half-year 2009, Iliad (Paris: ILD) consolidated its position as the leading ADSL alternative operator. At 30 June 2009, Iliad's ADSL had a total of 4,371,000 subscribers, compared with 3,134,000 at 30 June 2008.

Costa Rica's ICE to use Minerva, Widevine and Amino for IPTV
