Frog by Wyplay powers Sky Italia HD decoders
Apr 21, 2015 – Wyplay has announced that Sky Italia, in cooperation with Telecom Italia, are deploying a broadband HDTV decoder powered by Frog By Wyplay. The full Sky TV service offering will be deployed by Telecom Italia for their ultra-broadband customers.

TIM and Sky launch fibre-optic TV in Italy

High-power LTE-A+ Broadcast trials start in Aosta and Paris

Sky reports 4Q 2014 results

Italy postpones ban on new TV sets without DVB-T2
Dec 24, 2014 – Italy's Council of Ministers (Consiglio dei Ministri) has put on hold a requirement that all new televisions in the country be DVB-T2 compliant. The rule was planned to come into force on January 1, 2015, with retailers having six months to clear any non-compliant stock.

2.3 million active smartcards for Italy's TivùSat
