Telefónica posts a 43% increase in net profit to a record 8,906 million euros

Thomson participates in First DVB-H Mobile Television Service in Latin America
Feb 6, 2008 – Thomson (Euronext Paris: 18453; NYSE: TMS) has announced that it is supplying a complete head-end solution to ATV, part of the pan-Latin American media group Albavision, to power a trial mobile television service in Lima, Peru and in Guatemala.

DIRECTV Extends Partnership with NDS

Telefónica breaks a new record, increasing net profit by 51% to 7,848 million euros through September
Nov 12, 2007 – Telefónica continues to spearhead the development of the pay TV market in Spain, reaching a 12% estimated share of the Spanish pay TV market by September 2007. Net adds in the third quarter amounted 18,142, to bring overall customer base to 469,067 subscribers at the end of September.

The DIRECTV Group Announces Third Quarter 2007 Results
Nov 7, 2007 – DIRECTV (NYSE:DTV) U.S. net subscriber additions increased 45% to 240,000 in the quarter bringing the total number of subscribers as of September 30, 2007 to 16.56 million. DIRECTV Latin America had a nearly fourfold increase in net subscriber additions to 161,000.
