Canal+ launches K+ DTH in Vietnam
Jan 12, 2010 – The CANAL+ Group (Paris: VIV) has announced the launch of K+ in Vietnam, the new bouquet of satellite channels operated by its subsidiary VSTV. The launch follows the signing last June of a partnership between CANAL+ and Vietnamese broadcaster VTV.

IPTV subscribers reach 1 million in Russia
Jan 11, 2010 – According to a pay TV report from ComNews Research, the number of IPTV subscribers in Russia reached 1 million at the end of 2009. The segment with the highest growth in absolute terms was satellite with 2 million subscribers being added in the year.
