CITEL includes DVB standards in DTT Implementation Guidelines for the Americas
May 6, 2008 – The Inter-American Telecommunication Commission (CITEL) has decided to include the standards for digital terrestrial television DVB-T (fixed reception) and DVB-H (mobile TV) as official standards within the CITEL implementation guidelines.

DTT for Azerbaijan
May 5, 2008 – Azerbaijan's National TV and Radio Council reports that digital-terrestrial broadcasting will be launched in the second half of this year. The process is to start in Baku and Ganca in line with DVB-T standards.

Colombia to evaluate China digital TV standard

KPN publishes first quarter results 2008

Czech Republic - Govt approves digital TV plan
