Windstream selects ARRIS Wireless Video Gateways and Set-Tops

Charter residential video customers down 33,000 in 2Q 2015

HbbTV places contracts for HbbTV 2.0 test suite

Pricing pressure drags on TV Set-Top Box market
Jul 30, 2015 – IHS (NYSE: IHS) has reported that unit shipments of set-top boxes worldwide were up 3% from the year-ago first quarter. IHS expects particularly strong unit growth for HDMI dongles such as Google’s Chromecast, Roku HDMI sticks, Amazon’s Fire TV Stick HDTV, and virtual set-top boxes.

Broadcom reports second quarter 2015 results
Jul 30, 2015 – Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM) has reported results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2015. Net revenue for the quarter was $2.10 billion, an increase of 2.7% compared with the $2.04 billion reported for the second quarter of 2014.
