KPN adds HDTV to its IPTV service
Apr 6, 2010 – KPN has launched high-definition (HD) TV on its Interactieve TV IPTV service. The new service consists of 10 HD channels: Nederland 1, 2 and 3, Net5, SBS6, Veronica, Flemish channels Één and Canvas Ketnet, and thematic channels Discovery HD and Animal Planet HD.

KT, France Telecom Join Forces for Digital Home

SiOL TV reaches 109k subscribers in Slovenia at end-2009
Mar 31, 2010 – Telekom Slovenia (Ljubljana:TLSG) has published the annual report of the Telekom Slovenia Group and Telekom Slovenije, d.d. for the year 2009. The number of IPTV subscribers was up 29% on a year earlier to pass 109,000 by the end of the year.

Chunghwa Telecom Multimedia-on-Demand subscribers stable in 4Q09
Mar 30, 2010 – Chunghwa Telecom (TAIEX: 2412, NYSE: CHT) has reported results for the year ended December 31, 2009. At the end of the fourth quarter, Chunghwa had 667,000 Multimedia-On-Demand (MOD) subscribers, down from 668,000 at the end of the previous quarter.

Satellite Still Dominant Platform for STB Market
