Online Digitale TV DTT service launches in the Netherlands
Nov 2, 2010 – Dutch ISP Online has launched its 'Online Digitale TV' triple-play package in the Netherlands. The service offers internet access, fixed telephony and DVB-T digital TV with a subscription fee of €28.50 per month.

GVT selects Ericsson for pay TV in Brazil
Oct 29, 2010 – GVT (Paris:VIV) has announced that Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) will supply the platform for its hybrid satellite/IP pay TV service to be launched in 2011. Later this year, the company will select the supplier of set top boxes.

Ireland announces Digital Television switch-on
Oct 29, 2010 – The government of Ireland has announced that the RTE Digital Terrestrial Television service is now available to 90% of the Irish population. The Digital Television service has launched from 24 sites around the country on a trial basis.

Sri Lanka to introduce DVB-T2 broadcasting
Oct 27, 2010 – Sri Lanka's Mass Media Ministry has said that all terrestrial channels in Sri Lanka will move to DVB-T2 broadcasting by 2015. The first region to have the service will be the country's Western Province.
