Malaysian TV To Be All-Digital By 2015
Jan 20, 2009 – Malaysia expects to have 19 free digital terrestrial TV (DTT) channels by 2012 when digital transmission is launched nationwide, with full switch-over by 2015.

Brazil's digital TV to go interactive in 2010
Jan 16, 2009 – Sales of Set-Top-Boxes fitted with the Brazilian interactive middleware 'Ginga' will start in December this year. The system will be interactive by 2010 instead of this year as originally planned.

Poland's DTT launch set for September
Jan 15, 2009 – According to the National Broadcasting Council (Krajowej Rady Radiofonii i Telewizji - KRRiT), Poland's first DTT multiplex will launch in September 2009 covering Warsaw, Zielona Góra, Poznan and Zagan.

Israel DTT launch set for July 2009

Boxer subscriptions fall slightly due to tough competition in the mature Swedish digital TV market
Jan 14, 2009 – On 31 December 2008, Boxer had 689,000 digital TV subscriptions. The number of subscriptions fell by just under three percent during the year, from 709,000 at the beginning of the year.
