China's cable digital TV subscribers reach 95 million
May 27, 2011 – According to Guideline Research, at the end of April 2011, the number of digital cable TV subscribers in China reached 95.168 million, out of a total cable TV subscriber base of 187.3 million.

German CE Market Grows by 6.6% % in First Quarter of 2011

STB shipment volumes to decline by 9% in 2011

Western Europe digital TV penetration to reach 99% by 2016
May 23, 2011 – Pay TV revenues in Western Europe will not grow between 2011 and 2016 according to a new report from Digital TV Research Ltd. Digital TV penetration will reach 99% by 2016, up from 79% in 2010 - or 172 million homes compared with 133 million.

Italy - March 2011 DTT decoder market
May 20, 2011 – The DGTVi has published its March 2011 report on the digital terrestrial TV (DTT) market in Italy. Sales of DTT IDTVs and set-top boxes totalled 2.8 million in the first quarter of 2011, down from 3.3 million in the same period of 2010.
