BT adds 40,000 TV subscribers in 2Q 2014
Jul 31, 2014 – BT Group (BT.L) has announced results for its quarter to 30 June 2014. The company added 40,000 TV customers in the quarter. BT commenced the exchange of legacy set-top boxes in the quarter which resulted in some TV customer churn.

Telenet adds 19,200 digital TV subscribers in Q2 2014
Jul 31, 2014 – Telenet (Brussels: TNET) has announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2014. At June 30, 2014, the company served 1,528,300 digital TV customers (+5% year-on-year) having added 19,200 net digital TV subscribers in Q2 2014.

Crnogorski Telekom adds 800 IPTV subscribers in 2Q 2104
Jul 30, 2014 – Montenegro's Crnogorski Telekom has announced half year 2014 results. At the end of June 2014, the number of Extra TV connections was 63.5 thousand, up 4.2 thousand (7%) versus the year before.

Alcatel-Lucent and Telefónica bring network DVR to Movistar TV in Spain

UK's Freesat adds 6,000 households in 2Q 2014
Jul 28, 2014 – Freesat, the UK subscription free satellite TV service, added 6,000 new homes in the three months to the end of June. In all, Freesat has added 24,000 households in the first half of 2014.
