DOCSIS 3.0 Boosts Broadband CPE Market
Jul 18, 2012 – Infonetics Research has released its first quarter (1Q12) Broadband CPE and Subscribers report. The battle between Huawei and ZTE for overall broadband CPE revenue share continues: Huawei took back the top spot in 1Q12, slightly edging out ZTE.

Global IPTV subscribers grow by 3.8 million in Q1 2012 to 65.6 million
Jun 20, 2012 – According to figures published by the Broadband Forum and prepared by Point Topic, IPTV now has 65.6 million subscribers globally, up 3.8 million in the quarter. China added over three times as many IPTV subscribers in the quarter as any other country.

Pay TV subscribers in Portugal up 3.2% in 1Q 2012
Jun 4, 2012 – According to Portugal's Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM), there were 3.073 million subscribers to subscription TV as at the end of 1st Quarter 2012 (1Q2012), 96 thousand more than in the previous quarter.

UPC unveils On Demand TV for Ireland
