Kudelski Group delivers strong second half 2009 results
Feb 26, 2010 – The Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.VX) has announced its 2009 annual results. Digital TV sales in the second half were particularly strong growing by 27.3% compared to the first half.

Megacable digital cable subscribers up 89% in 2009
Feb 25, 2010 – Mexico's Megacable Holdings (BMV: MEGA.CPO) has announced its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2009. The video segment ended the year with 1,592,841 subscribers, an increase of 7%. Digital cable subscribers were 311,726 up 89% in the year.

Freeview NZ Adopts MHEG Interaction Channel For Hybrid Services
Feb 25, 2010 – IMPALA, the International MHEG Promotion Alliance, has announced that Freeview NZ has adopted the MHEG Interaction Channel (MHEG-IC) from the D-book 6.1 as part of an upgrade to its MHEG Country Profile that will allow hybrid services to be provided.

BoomTV in Macedonia has 11,000 users at end-2009
Feb 25, 2010 – The Telekom Slovenia Group (Telekom Slovenije, d.d.) [Ljubljana:TLSG] has released its business report for 2009. At end-2009, Ipko in Kosovo had nearly 43,000 digital cable TV connections and BoomTV in Macedonian had over 11,000 television users.

OTE Conn-x IPTV at 16k subscribers and RomTelecom DTH at 880k at end-2009
Feb 25, 2010 – The OTE Group (ASE: HTO, NYSE: OTE) has announced results for the quarter ended December 31, 2009. As of December 2009, OTE's Conn-x IPTV service had attracted more than 16,000 subscribers. RomTelecom direct-to-home TV subscribers reached 880,000.

Sky Mexico adds 140k subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 25, 2010 – Grupo Televisa (NYSE:TV; BMV: TLEVISA CPO) has announced results for 2009. During the fourth quarter, Sky added 143 thousand subscribers of which 140 thousand were in Mexico and three thousand were in Central America and the Dominican Republic.

France Telecom adds 301,000 TV subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 25, 2010 – France Telecom (Paris & NYSE: FTE) has released its fourth quarter and full year 2009 results. France Telecom had 3.2 million digital TV (IPTV and satellite) subscribers at the end of 2009, a 53% increase in the year, and up 301,000 in the quarter.

Cablevision adds 4,800 digital video customers in 4Q09
Feb 25, 2010 – Cablevision Systems (NYSE:CVC) has reported results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2009. iO: Interactive Optimum digital video customers were up 4,800 or 0.2% from September 2009 and 55,900 or 2.0% from December 2008.

Magyar Telekom Sat TV up 35k and IPTV up 14k in 4Q09
Feb 25, 2010 – Magyar Telekom (Frankfurt: DTE)(NYSE:DT) has reported results for 2009. The total number of TV customers at the end of 2009 was 630,000, up by 174,000 from a year earlier and up 46,000 in the quarter.
