Belgacom exceeds expectations
Aug 24, 2007 – Belgacom added 51,683 new TV subscribers in the first half of 2007. Acquisition of Belgacom TV customers accelerated considerably in the second quarter of 2007, with 41,857 new customers. Belgacom exceeds expectations by bringing its total Belgacom TV customer base to 191,348 at the end of June.

Liberty Global Reports Second Quarter 2007 Results
Aug 8, 2007 – Liberty Global had 23.1 million total RGUs at June 30, 2007, with 14.7 million video, 4.9 million broadband Internet and 3.5 million telephony subscribers. The 14.7 million video subscribers consisted of 10.9 million analog cable, 2.8 million digital cable and 1.0 million DTH subscribers.

Telenet announces First Half 2007 results
Aug 6, 2007 – By the end of the first half of 2007, Telenet (Euronext Brussels: TNET) had a total of 348,000 subscribers taking one or more premium television services, including 309,000 iDTV subscribers, 33,000 Prime customers (on the former Canal+ platform) and 6,000 customers subscribing to premium content on the former UPC Belgium network.

Belgium - Digital switchover plan approved

Belgium - BeTV finally making money
Jul 15, 2007 – Pay-TV operator Be TV has just turned its first ever profit, Be TV's CEO Daniel Weekers told the Belgian press. The number of subscribers grew to 123,000 from 116,000 over the period, taking out a total of 285,000 subscriptions, up from 268,000.
