Netherlands ends 2012 with 6.375 million digital TV connections
Mar 14, 2013 – The number of digital TV connections in the Netherlands grew by 1.8 percent during the fourth quarter of 2012 to 6.375 million on 31 December 2012, according to Telecompaper's quarterly Dutch Television Subscribers report.

Piracy clampdown boosts Middle East & North Africa pay TV revenues
Mar 6, 2013 – The number of pay TV homes in the Middle East and North Africa will double between 2011 and 2018 to 16.0 million, according to a report from Digital TV Research. The report forecasts that fewer than 15% of TV households (analog and digital) legitimately paid for TV signals by end-2012. This proportion will climb to 21.6% by 2018.

Netherlands adds 560,000 digital TV subscribers in year to September 2012
Mar 5, 2013 – The Netherlands' Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (OPTA) has published figures on the communication markets in the country for Q3 2012. The number of digital TV subscribers at the end of the quarter increased 9.8% compared with the end of the same period of 2011.

Satellite subscribers grow 25% in Croatia in 2012
Mar 1, 2013 – The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has reported market data for the end of the fourth quarter of 2012. Satellite TV was the fastest growing segment of the television market with subscriptions growing by 25% over the year. IPTV remains the leading pay TV technology with more than 360,000 subscribers.
