Pace announces agreement to acquire Bewan Systems
Mar 2, 2010 – Pace (LSE:PIC) has announced that Pace France has signed a conditional agreement to acquire Bewan Systems SA, the Paris-based IP and cable gateways specialist. The consideration for the acquisition will not exceed €12.5 million.

Multimedia Polska adds 8k digital subscribers in Q4"²09
Mar 1, 2010 – Multimedia Polska (Warsaw:MMP) has released results for 2009. In the fourth quarter Multimedia Polska recorded a net increase in RGUs of 27,060, including 10,848 CATV RGUs consisting of 2,503 analog cable TV RGUs, 594 IPTV RGUs and 7,751 DTV RGUs.

Canal+ migrates 490k subscribers to digital in 2009
Mar 1, 2010 – Vivendi (Paris: VIV) has released results for 2009. In metropolitan France, 2009 was marked by the resumption of subscription take-ups in the fall. In total, 490,000 subscribers have transferred to digital since the beginning of the year.

ANT ships 2.9 million units in 2009
Mar 1, 2010 – ANT (LSE AIM: ANTP) has announced final results for the year ended 31 December 2009. The total number of units shipped during the year reduced by 8% to 2.9m units (2008: 3.2m), due mainly to market conditions and some delay in silicon chip production.

Pay TV in Portugal up 85,000 subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 26, 2010 – According to the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM), in the fourth quarter of 2009, the total number of pay TV subscribers in Portugal exceeded 2.5 million, 85 thousand more than in the previous quarter and 243 thousand more than a year earlier.

Telefónica España adds 49k IPTV subscribers in 4Q09
Feb 26, 2010 – Telefónica (Madrid and NYSE: TEF) has released its fourth quarter 2009 results. Worldwide, pay TV accesses stood at around 2.5 million at the end of 2009, 9.8% up from a year earlier. In Spain net adds were 48,725 to finish the year at 702,980.

Belgacom TV adds 89,000 subscriptions in 4Q09
Feb 26, 2010 – Belgacom (Brussels: BELG) has released its annual results for 2009. In 2009, Belgacom grew its TV customer base by 246,000 subscribers, compared to 201,000 in 2008. In the fourth quarter of 2009 Belgacom TV added a record 89,000 new subscriptions.

Kudelski Group delivers strong second half 2009 results
