DIRECTV up 214k; U-Verse down 240k; DTVLA down 34k subscribers in 4Q 2015
Jan 26, 2016 – AT&T (NYSE:T) has reported results for the fourth quarter of 2015. U.S. video subscribers were down slightly in the quarter. The company added 214,000 satellite subscribers while U-verse TV subscribers declined 240,000. DIRECTV LA fourth-quarter subscriber net losses were 34,000.

StarTV launches satellite pay TV in Mexico with Eutelsat
Dec 7, 2015 – StarTV has announced the launch of its Direct-to-Home pay-TV service in Mexico. The new platform will start later this month in the Mexican state of Zacatecas and other parts of the country, replacing the TVZac platform that has been available regionally through microwave distribution.

Mexico adds 437,000 pay TV subscribers in 2Q 2015
Nov 29, 2015 – According to Mexico’s Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones, in the second quarter of 2015, pay TV subscriptions in the country were up 10.0% versus the the same point one year before. Mexico added 437 thousand pay TV subscribers to end the quarter with a subscriber total of 16.98 million.

Jul 28, 2015 – Axtel has announced results for the quarter ended June 30, 2015. AXTEL launched its pay-television service, AXTEL TV, in 2013, and as of June 30, 2015, video subscribers reached 100 thousand compared to 80 thousand a year ago.
