TWC residential video subscribers up 21,000 in 1Q 2016
Apr 28, 2016 – Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) has reported results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2016. Residential video revenue grew as a result of an increase in average revenue per subscriber and growth in video subscribers.

Apr 27, 2016 – Bharti Airtel has announced results for the quarter ended March 31, 2016. At the end of the period, the Company had 11.7 million DTH customers, representing an increase of 16.4% as compared to the corresponding quarter last year.

ZTE trials AndroidTV STB at Tokushima Cable

BBC Player to launch with StarHub later this year

Global pay TV revenues to peak in 2018

DIRECTV up 328k; U-Verse down 382k; DTVLA down 73k subscribers in 1Q 2016
Apr 26, 2016 – AT&T (NYSE:T) has reported results for the first quarter of 2016. In the U.S., total video subscribers were down 54,000 in the quarter. DIRECTV Latin America first-quarter subscriber net losses were 73,000.

FCC consults on ATSC 3.0 physical layer deployment
