DISH Network ends 2012 with 14.056 million pay TV subscribers
Feb 20, 2013 – DISH Network (NASDAQ: DISH) has reported 2012 results. The company added about 14,000 net new pay-TV subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2012. DISH ended 2012 with 14.056 million pay-TV subscribers compared to 13.967 million total subscribers in 2011.

France Telecom-Orange adds 770,000 digital TV subscribers in 2012
Feb 20, 2013 – France Telecom-Orange (NYSE:FTE) has published its end-2012 results. In Europe, digital TV (IPTV and satellite) rose 15.0% with 5.9 million subscribers at 31 December 2012, up 770,000 in the year, mostly in France and Poland, but also in Slovakia and Spain.

18.07 million satellite households in Germany at end-2012

Brazil's Oi TV ends 2012 with 757,000 subscribers, up 116% YoY
Feb 18, 2013 – Oi S.A. has disclosed its results for the 4th quarter and year of 2012. The Pay TV segment recorded another quarter of strong growth, adding 153 thousand customers in the quarter (+25.3%) and 406 thousand in the year (+115.7%) to 757 thousand customers.

TELUS TV subscribers up 33% to 678,000 in 2012
Feb 15, 2013 – TELUS has reported fourth quarter 2012 results. TV additions in the quarter - both IP-based Optik TV and satellite TELUS TV - were 41,000. The total TV subscriber base of 678,000 was up 33 per cent or 169,000 from a year ago.

DIRECTV Latin America subscribers up 31% in 2012; U.S. flat at 20 million

DIRECTV U.S. ended the quarter with 20.08 million subscribers, an increase of 1% compared with December 31, 2011. Canal Digital subscribers down 20,000 in 2012
