Motorola Supplies 150,000 IPTV Set-Tops to Portugal Telecom
May 13, 2009 – Motorola (NYSE: MOT) has announced that it has delivered 150,000 IPTV set tops to Portugal Telecom (Lisbon: PTC; NYSE: PT) for its 'meo' triple play service. At 31st of December of 2008, the operator had 312,000 customers for the service.

Cyfrowy Polsat reaches 2.8 million subscribers
May 12, 2009 – Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. (Warsaw: CPS), the largest provider of pay DTH satellite television broadcasting services in Poland, had 2,802,056 subscribers as of 31 March 2009, 28.1% more than as at 31 March 2008.

May 11, 2009 – Unitymedia has launched its new Samsung DCB-P850G personal video recorder (PVR) in the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and Hesse. The PVR is dual tuner with a 160GB hard disk.

Netia and 'n' to launch IPTV pilot in Poland

Welho maintains cable customer base at 68 thousand
