iflix secures additional $133 million funding
Aug 7, 2017 – iflix has announced that it has completed a $133 million funding round. The round was led by Hearst and included new investors Singapore-based EDBI and clients of DBS private bank. Existing shareholders also increased their investments.

Brazil Pay TV market to reach 28 million households by 2018
Oct 26, 2015 – The Brazilian pay TV market will reach 27.7 million households by 2018 up 30.7% when compared to end-2015. Households with DTH pay TV will account for 60.9% of the total in 2015, according to data from Dataxis.

Brazil's Oi to add TV Everywhere to quad-play service

1.2 million paying HD+ households in Germany at end-June 2013

Brazil's Oi TV ends 2012 with 757,000 subscribers, up 116% YoY
Feb 18, 2013 – Oi S.A. has disclosed its results for the 4th quarter and year of 2012. The Pay TV segment recorded another quarter of strong growth, adding 153 thousand customers in the quarter (+25.3%) and 406 thousand in the year (+115.7%) to 757 thousand customers.

Brazil adds 2.86 million satellite TV subscribers in 2012
