DIRECTV Extends Partnership with NDS
Dec 5, 2007 – NDS (NASDAQ: NNDS) has announced that it has signed an agreement with DIRECTV to extend the term of their relationship. NDS has been contracted to continue to provide conditional access technology and services to DIRECTV U.S. and DIRECTV Latin America until June 2013.

MTV Selects Envivio Encoders for Mobile TV Services in Brazil
Dec 2, 2007 – MTV and five other broadcasters - TV Globo, TV Record, BAND TV, SBT, and TV Gazeta - officially began their digital terrestrial TV broadcasts in Sao Paulo on December 2nd. Service bouquets include mobile, SD and HD content.

Telefónica breaks a new record, increasing net profit by 51% to 7,848 million euros through September
Nov 12, 2007 – Telefónica continues to spearhead the development of the pay TV market in Spain, reaching a 12% estimated share of the Spanish pay TV market by September 2007. Net adds in the third quarter amounted 18,142, to bring overall customer base to 469,067 subscribers at the end of September.

The DIRECTV Group Announces Third Quarter 2007 Results
Nov 7, 2007 – DIRECTV (NYSE:DTV) U.S. net subscriber additions increased 45% to 240,000 in the quarter bringing the total number of subscribers as of September 30, 2007 to 16.56 million. DIRECTV Latin America had a nearly fourfold increase in net subscriber additions to 161,000.
