FTTH growth accelerates in Europe
Feb 24, 2010 – In 2009, growth in terms of subscribers and Homes/Buildings passed has accelerated in Europe. In EU36 (including Russia), there were nearly 3.5 million FTTH/B subscribers and more than 25 million Homes/Buildings Passed.

Bell TV adds 41k subscribers in 4Q09; plans IPTV in 2010
Feb 4, 2010 – BCE (TSX, NYSE: BCE) has reported results for the fourth quarter of 2009. Bell announced plans for the introduction of IPTV later in 2010. Total TV subscribers increased by 41,000 in the quarter to give 1,949,000 TV subscribers at year-end.

KPN adds 46 thousand digital TV subscribers in 4Q09

Verizon adds 153,000 FiOS TV customers in 4Q09
Jan 26, 2010 – Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ) has reported its results for the fourth quarter of 2009. Verizon added 153,000 net new FiOS TV customers and served 2.9 million FiOS TV customers by the end of the quarter, a 49.2 percent year-over-year increase.
