Technicolor ships 4.7 million Access Products in 1Q10
Apr 22, 2010 – Technicolor (Paris 18453; NYSE: TCH) has reported its first quarter 2010 revenues. The first quarter of 2010 year-on-year Connect revenue decline reflected mainly lower demand from a North American client for satellite Set-Top Boxes.

RSCC plans satellites for 3D and HDTV in Russia
Apr 22, 2010 – RSCC, the national satellite communications operator of Russia, is planning two new DTH satellites Express-AT1 and Express-AT2. At least 25% capacity on each is to be used for digital TV platforms in 3D and HDTV format for the Russian Federation.

China IPTV subscribers to reach 8.5 million in 2010
Apr 21, 2010 – According to ResearchInChina, the number of Cable DTV Subscribers in China reached 65 million in 2009, up from 45.1 million at the end of 2008. For IPTV, the number of subscribers grew from 2.65 million to 4.33 million in the same period.
