Chunghwa Telecom Multimedia-on-Demand subscribers down 26k in 2Q09
Aug 27, 2009 – Chunghwa Telecom (TAIEX: 2412, NYSE: CHT) has reported results for the first six months of 2009. At the end of the quarter, Chunghwa had 660,000 Multimedia-On-Demand (MOD) subscribers, a 29.7% y-o-y increase, though down 26,000 on end-March 2009.

Comstar 2Q09: Pay TV subscribers down in Moscow; flat in the Regions
Aug 27, 2009 – COMSTAR (LSE: CMST) has announced its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. In Moscow, the number of triple-play subscribers decreased by 3% quarter-on-quarter to 133 thousand. In the Regions subscriber numbers were flat at 1.953 million.

TiVo subscribers down 146 thousand in quarter to end-July 2009
Aug 26, 2009 – TiVo (NASDAQ: TIVO) has reported results for its second quarter ended July 31, 2009. TiVo lost 42,000 direct subscribers and 104,000 subscribers through MSOs/broadcasters, to leave a total of 3.05 million at the end of the period.

Sigma Designs Reports Second Quarter Fiscal 2010 Results

Aug 25, 2009 – ANT (LSE AIM: ANTP) has announce its results for the six months ended 30 June 2009. Shipments increased 8% to 1.6 million units (H1 2008: 1.5 million units) during the period. Loss from operations was reduced by 11% to £0.9m (H1 2008: £1.0m).

LG Dacom adds 31k IPTV subscribers in June 2009
Aug 24, 2009 – LG Dacom has announced results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009. Dacom added 78,000 myLGtv IPTV subscribers in the quarter to give a total of 188,000 at the end of the period.
