Broadband Passes 500 Million Subscribers
Sep 20, 2010 – Broadband has taken a significant step forward as the number of subscriber lines passed the 500 million mark in July 2010. In the second quarter 2.3 million IPTV subscribers were added, making over 38.5 million people using IPTV at the end of Q2 2010.

E.U. Sales of Blu-ray players set to break all records
Jul 28, 2010 – Sales of Blu-ray players in Europe are set to reach a new record high in 2010. Around 4.6 million units will be sold in EU member states, more than doubling the previous figure, according to the European Information Technology Observatory (EITO).

Global IPTV subscribers grow 8% in Q1 2010

France Telecom adds 173,000 TV subscribers in 1Q10
Apr 29, 2010 – France Telecom (Paris and NYSE: FTE) has released its 2010 first quarter results. France Telecom had 3.4 million digital TV (IPTV and satellite) subscribers at the end of the period, up 173,000 in the quarter.
