Commission sees need for a stronger more consumer-friendly Single Market for Online Music, Films and Games in Europe
Jan 3, 2008 – The European Commission has decided to give a new boost to Europe's online content sector. EU citizens should be able to enjoy easier and faster access to a rich variety of music, TV programmes, films or games via the Internet, mobile phones or other devices.

Tsinghua Tongfang Wins Bulgarian IPTV STB Order
Dec 14, 2007 – According to a source at Tsinghua Tongfang's Consumer Electronics Department, the company has won an order from a Bulgarian IPTV provider for 10,000 IPTV set-top boxes.

European Commission strategy for Mobile TV in Europe endorsed by Member States

Jul 30, 2007 – A new research report from Informa Telecoms & Media, has found that central and eastern Europe is making great strides in the upgrade to digital TV. The report has found that the eight million digital homes at present will grow to 34.8 million by 2012.
