INFO-TV-FM wins Poland's DVB-H tender
Mar 6, 2009 – In response to its tender, Poland's Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) received two bids to offer DVB-H mobile TV services in the country. The UKE has announced that the winner is INFO-TV-FM.

HanseNet to deploy Sagem PVR
Mar 6, 2009 – HanseNet, a German subsidiary of Telecom Italia (Milan:TIT, NYSE:TI), is planning to make a new IPTV set-top box (STB) available to its Alice TV customers in the first half of 2009. The STB is a personal video recorder (PVR) supplied by Sagem.

Belgacom announces 2008 results
Mar 6, 2009 – The Belgacom Group (Brussels: BELG) has reported a revenue of EUR 5,986 million for full-year 2008. In 2008, Belgacom added 201,000 new TV users, a considerable rise compared to the 166,000 users in 2007.

Swisscom - Stable core business with strong increase in customers
Mar 4, 2009 – Swisscom (Swiss: SCMN) closed the 2008 financial year with net revenue up 10.0% to CHF 12,198 million and operating income (EBITDA) up 6.4% to CHF 4,789 million. By the end of 2008 Bluewin TV had doubled its customer base year-on-year to 118,000.

France Telecom 2008 annual results
Mar 4, 2009 – France Telecom (Paris & NYSE: FTE) has reased its 2008 results. Digital and satellite TV subscribers rose to 2.1 million in Europe at 31 December 2008 (mainly in France), compared with 1.2 million a year earlier, an increase of 66%.
