DIRECTV U.S. at 18 million subscribers; DTVLA at 4 million
May 7, 2009 – The DIRECTV Group (NASDAQ:DTV) has reported results for the first quarter. DIRECTV U.S. net subscriber additions were 460,000 to give 18.08 million, and DIRECTV Latin America net subscriber additions were 148,000 to give 4.03 million, at quarter end.

May 7, 2009 – Charter Communications (Pink OTC: CHTRQ) has reported results for the three months ended March 31, 2009. Digital video customers increased by approximately 25,600 during the first quarter to reach approximately 3,157,700.
